Schumacher's condition critical, but stable

No change in Schumacher's condition after skiing accident in the French Alps last Sunday.

Michael Schumacher's longstanding manager Sabine Kehm issued a brief statement at the Grenoble Hospital on Wednesday, saying his condition remained critical.

"Michael has been carefully supervised and his condition at the moment is stable, and has been stable through the night," Kehm said.

In concordance with what doctors announced on Tuesday, there will be no press conference until a change in the seven-time World Champion's condition warrants it, with Kehm noting that the medical team's time is better put to use treating the driver.

Meanwhile, in the overnight hours, a German journalist reportedly dressed as a priest in order to gain access to Schumacher's hospital room.

"I wouldn't have ever imagined something like this could happen," Kehm told German media Die Welt. The intruder was reportedly escorted off the premises after his cover was blown. It is unclear whether charges will be filed against the journalist.
