Team Sauber Petronas continued its preparation program for the French and German Grand Prix at the Valencia circuit in Spain, where Nick Heidfeld set a best time of 1m13.913s. Nick Heidfeld completed 92 laps. Felipe Massa will take over tomorrow for the last day of testing of this July session. To comply with the FIA regulations, Team Sauber Petronas will not test again before the first week of September.

Giampaolo Dall'ara (Head of test Team):

"This morning we continued the aerodynamic test program that we began yesterday focussing mainly on configuring the car for Magny-Cours and the French Grand Prix next week. We completed this program and this afternoon switched our attention to further electronic systems work and tyre comparison testing, also for Magny-Cours. We had a successful day and are pleased with our progress."

Nick Heidfeld:

"We did plenty of running today. The high ambient and track temperatures have been very conducive to gathering valid data because we can expect it to be similarly hot when we get to Magny-Cours next week."
