Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Team Sauber Petronas continued testing near Valencia (Spain) today with the new Sauber Petronas C22. Weather conditions were better in the morning before the rain in the afternoon. Heinz-Harald Frentzen completed a total of 64 laps during the day with a fastest time of 1m.12.991s.

Nick Heidfeld will take over the driving duties for the last day of testing tomorrow.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Vehicle Engineering):

"We were relieved to find better weather conditions in the morning, with none of the heavy gusts of wind that interrupted our program yesterday. As a result of this, we were able to continue our aerodynamic testing this morning with satisfactory results."

"During the lunch hour, the engine was changed as it had reached its mileage limit. Heinz-Harald Frentzen was then able to resume driving later in the afternoon. Unfortunately it started raining in the second part of the afternoon, so that we could not start the tire testing program with Bridgestone."

Heinz-Harald Frentzen:

"I was overall pleased with the way things went today. The Sauber Petronas C22 feels good, but we have only just begun to test its full potential."
