Team Sauber Petronas continued its three-day test at Silverstone in Northamptonshire today in preparation for the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona on April 28. Nick Heidfeld recorded 73 laps to set the fourth fastest time of 1m23.109s Felipe Massa will take over from him for the final day tomorrow.

Remi Decorzent (Race engineer):

"We continued to do a lot of work on the aerodynamic set-ups today, in readiness for Barcelona and also the British GP here in July. At the same time we also had a big tyre development programme with Bridgestone to work through today. There were fewer red flags than yesterday, and though the track got a bit slower in the afternoon when the wind direction changed, we were able to complete both programmes in a troublefree day."

Nick Heidfeld:

"We had another good run today, with plenty of work to get our teeth into. The only problems were when the sessions had to be stopped twice because of red flags brought out by other drivers who had trouble on the circuit. The Sauber Petronas C21 ran well throughout, and I'm really pleased we were also able to try some practice starts so we can improve that aspect of things in Barcelona."

Temperature - air 16C - track 26C
Weather: Sunny and dry and cloudy in the afternoon
Track length: 5,14 kilometers
Nick Heidfeld - 73 laps - 375 kilometers
