Mugello, Wednesday, August 22, 2001
Weather: Cloudy but hot; one brief shower
Temperature: Track 40 deg; Air 30 deg
Distance: 88 laps, 462 kms

Team RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS continued its test programme at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello today, in preparation for the Belgian and Italian Grands Prix. Nick Heidfeld continued yesterday's work on aerodynamics and tyre evaluation and set the third fastest time of 1m 25.60s during the course of 88 laps.

Remi Decorzent (Race engineer): "After the slight upset with the weather yesterday we were able to complete our tyre evaluation programme for the Belgian Grand Prix next week, working in conjunction with Bridgestone's engineers. We were also able to continue yesterday's aerodynamic assessment programme."

Nick Heidfeld: "After today's work we have more data which will help us with our tyre selection at the Belgian Grand Prix, and we were able to carry out most of our planned schedule of aerodynamic testing. The track was not as good as yesterday, however, due to high winds which made it slower, so there is more work to do."
