Team Red Bull Sauber Petronas's tests continued at Monza in Italy today, in preparation for the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim at the end of the month. Kimi Raikkonen took over the driving duties from Nick Heidfeld and continued the aerodynamic and tyre evaluation programmes. He was 2nd fastest all day today with 1m 24.261s, in the course of 78 laps.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Head of Test Team): "We continued to concentrate on aerodynamic set-up work for the German GP today, and to evaluate Bridgestone's tyre option for that race. "We have been lucky with the weather all week, and today there were none of the red flag interruptions that hampered us yesterday. We made good progress on all fronts, and only stopped today when the engine reached its allotted mileage."

Kimi Raikkonen : "It's good to be back in the car again at Monza. I like the high-speed circuits. We worked through our programme today and learned more about setting the car up both for Hockenheim and for the race here in September."
