Sauber latest F1 team to pass crash tests

The Sauber team has announced its 2016 car has been homologated to start testing after having passed all the mandatory crash tests.

The Ferrari-powered C35, however, will not be in action in the first test of the pre-season, as the Swiss squad revealed last month.

Instead, the car will make its track debut in the second test at Barcelona in March.

Sauber will run a modified version of its 2015 car, using its 2016 livery, in the first test at the Spanish track.
