Sauber appoints former Ferrari, Haas engineer Buscombe
The Sauber Formula 1 continues to strengthen its team, having announced the signing of former Ferrari and Haas engineer Ruth Buscombe.
Buscombe, 26, worked as simulations development engineer at Ferrari from 2012, before moving to the role of race strategist in 2013.
She left the Maranello squad at the end of 2015, joining new F1 team Haas as its strategy engineer for eight months.
Now Buscombe has joined Sauber, where she will occupy the same role she had at Haas.
She will start working with the team from the Malaysian Grand Prix.
