Ricciardo takes blame for FP2 crash

Daniel Ricciardo was one of multiple drivers to go off in the session.

FP2 was a chaotic session that saw multiple drivers crash, including Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo. He ended up exceeding the track limits and got into the gravel. The car went tearing through the gravel trap before making contact with a tire barrier, severely damaging the left front and nose portion of the RB10.

Ricciardo admitted that the accident was his fault and told reporters, "On the slow lap, there was a yellow flag, so I went extra slow so that once I started my quick lap, the yellow flag would have cleared and I would have been able to push."

"The tyres probably cooled too much and out of the last chicane I got on the power and had a few moments ... Just couldn't catch it."
