The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team completed a productive third day's testing in Valencia today, in spite of difficult weather conditions during the afternoon. Jarno Trulli conducted tyre development work, while Fernando Alonso continued development of the team's traction control system.

The two cars had a planned engine change at lunchtime, before it began raining during the afternoon. Fernando Alonso nevertheless completed some running on the wet circuit, while Jarno Trulli only shook his car down in preparation for tomorrow.

Mike Gascoyne, Technical Director of the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team

"It was another productive day for the team. This morning, the drivers continued their programmes, and Fernando managed to run the new traction control system in the wet during the afternoon. Jarno simply completed a shake-down in preparation for tomorrow, when he will test brake developments and conduct general set-up work."

The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team will conclude their testing at the Valencia circuit tomorrow, Friday 3 May. Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso will be the two drivers.
