The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team concluded today its two-day test session at the Silverstone circuit. Owing to fog, the circuit remained closed at the beginning of the afternoon. As conditions improved, the Team was able to run a limited amount of laps with Allan McNish.

In the morning, Allan continued working on the engine mapping. In the afternoon, his programme was hampered by bad weather conditions and he just focused on wet tyre evaluation for Michelin.

Mike Gascoyne, Technical Director:

"Despite the rain in the afternoon, we had another useful day of testing. In the morning we tried the same development engine of yesterday and we ran a considerable amount of mileage without incurring in any problems. We also continued a suspension work and we are able to confirm the positive gain on suspension made yesterday. In the afternoon, we did some wet tyre work. Overall, we had a productive session in preparation for the Spanish Grand Prix (Barcelona, May 2-4)."
