After spending a week running alongside teammates, Ralf Schumacher and 1993 Barber Pro Series racer Juan Pablo Montoya, former Formula Dodge standout Antonio Pizzonia took the spotlight for himself in his role as Williams/BMW test driver, leading the final day of Barcelona testing as four teams put in more pre-season preparation.

Pizzonia was a half-second faster than the rest of the field while turning the most laps (74) of any of the seven cars on track today at the Circuit de Catalunya. Pizzonia put up a top lap of 1:19.452 to show the way, carding the only lap under 1:20 all day long.

The Brazilian will continue his testing duties for Williams throughout the year while also attempting to fight for the 2002 FIA Formula 3000 title.
