1994 Barber Pro Series race winner Juan Pablo Montoya was one of several F1 stars in action at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. No fewer than six Grand Prix teams participated, despite this week^Òs testing at Monza, Barcelona and Fiorano making the logistics difficult.

Montoya took to the hill on Saturday at the wheel of last year's Williams-BMW FW22. His early reservations about losing a free weekend proved unfounded and he thoroughly enjoyed himself as he made a series of practice starts to entertain the crowd.

Doughnuts have been banned since last year and officials told the Colombian to be conservative on his second run, so he went out of his way to make even more smoke! On Sunday the car was taken over by F3000 driver Ricardo Sperifico. Sperafico is cousin to Alex, currently racing in the 2001 Barber Dodge Pro Series.
