Juan Pablo Montoya appears to have been getting in some practice for the Austrian Grand Prix by hurtling through the south of France at over 200kmph in his BMW. The Williams driver was clocked by a speed radar and promptly had his license confiscated.

Montoya was driving between Les Arcs and Le Muy and according to AFP news, his license is being withheld pending an investigation by local authorities. The Colombian could face a two month ban from road driving but his participation in Grands Prix will not be affected.

BAR's Jenson Button was caught speeding in the same area a couple of years ago while Montoya's team mate, Ralf Schumacher, has also twice been fined for speeding and careless driving. Maybe they forgot to put their road-driving limiters on.
