Next Monday (November 22nd) the Minardi F1 team test driver, Tiago Monteiro, returns to the cockpit of the PS04 Cosworth on the Misano track where he will be in charge of preparing the car which will be used for the team to test ten young drivers, between the 22nd and 26th of November.

"I am excited to know that I am going to drive the Minardi again, this time with some alterations since the test in September. The aim is to prepare the car so it can have a neutral, balanced response, making it easy to use by the young, inexperienced Formula 1 drivers who the team has invited for this test," explained the driver from Porto, recently crowned Vice-Champion in the Nissan World Series.

Tiago Monteiro will also be available to help the young men, who will certainly be nervous at having their first opportunity to drive the Minardi: "I know what they must be feeling, because I've been through it too when I got in the cockpit of the Renault R202 in Barcelona two years ago, and the whole team was concentrating on me. Those are unforgettable moments. This is what the drivers invited by Paul Stoddart will be going through next week in Misano."

"I still do not know how many laps I will do of the track, it will depend on the type of circuit, which I know absolutely nothing about. But I think that 20 or 30 laps will be enough to adapt the Minardi to the track," the Portuguese driver concluded.
