Jaguar Racing began its Monaco Grand Prix weekend with the two hour test session this morning. Both Mark Webber and Antonio Pizzonia got in over 30 useful laps of information gathering, but neither of them were able to complete the session.

With 30 minutes to go Pizzonia scraped his car along the barrier as he exited Massanet corner. The car's right rear suspension was damaged, forcing him to stop immediately.

Fifteen minutes later Webber ran wide at the first corner and as he slowed, his engine stopped and would not restart. The Jaguar Racing crew were awaiting the return of both cars before they could begin their investigations into what needs doing to the cars to prepare them for the 11-am practice session.
