At the San Marino Grand Prix in ten days time, Minardi will run three cars in the Friday test session. A team spokesman confirmed that tester Matteo Bobbi is currently scheduled to join drivers Jos Verstappen and Justin Wilson for the two hour private test at Imola prior to the first practice.

It will be first time Minardi has opted to run three cars -- Renault has already run three but Jordan and Jaguar have not, so far. Italian Bobbi is Minardi's official test driver along with former Russian F3 champion Sergey Zlobin.

Verstappen and Wilson both crashed out of the Brazilian Grand Prix last weekend, falling foul to the waterlogged Turn 3 along with four other drivers.
