It's a good day when we see a bit of Michael Schumacher history pop up on our screens. And today is one of those good days. A Benetton B190B show car is going up for auction with F1 Authentics featuring the famous '90s Camel livery that we all love so much.

The B190B was part of a fascinating chapter in Formula 1 history. As an evolution of the B190 from 1990, it was able to utilise its Ford HBA4 engine and excellent aerodynamics to finish on the podium of the Phoenix Grand Prix by the hands of Nelson Piquet. Despite this, just two races later and it was replaced by the B191, the team's first nose-up design concept. The car's limited appearance makes this show car an interesting little find, but it's the custom Schumacher detailing that makes it extra special.

The seven-time champion joined Benetton in the latter part of the 1991 season, and while he started his F1 career with Jordan, he made his name with Benetton, establishing himself as a champion in 1994 and again in 1995.

According to the auction details, this reproduction is authentic and the "ultimate centrepiece for fans and collectors wishing to own a moment of a bygone era."

The auction closes on 22 April, and while no estimate has been disclosed, it's unlikely that it will go for huge amounts of money with it being a reproduction. The bidding starts at £10,000. For an enthusiast who can't afford a seven-figure F1 car, this could be the next best thing.
