The West McLaren Mercedes team came to the end of a productive three day test in Barcelona yesterday, during which the team ran three cars together for the first time.

Third driver Alex Wurz was present for all three days, piloting the MP4-17D on day one and then concentrating on tyre testing during the final two days in the MP4-17A. Alex completed a total of 209 laps at the Circuit de Catalunya.

David was present for all three days of the test, topping the time sheets each day and completing 153 laps of the 4.730km/2.939 miles circuit. Kimi was present for the final two days of the test and the Finn completed 103 laps.

Both drivers were piloting the MP4-17D, which the team will begin the 2003 season with when Formula 1 arrives in Australia on March 9th.
