Raffaele Marciello will get his first Formula One practice outing with Sauber in the Malaysian Grand Prix later this month.
The Italian joined the Swiss squad as a reserve driver for this year after finishing in eighth place in the GP2 series with Racing Engineering in 2014.
The Ferrari junior will get his first taste of the new Ferrari-powered C34 at Sepang, which hosts the second race of the season, later this month.
Marciello will be racing in GP2 again this season, but the 20-year-old is moving to Trident.
He made his Formula One debut with Ferrari in last year's post-season test in Abu Dhabi.
