Manor duo allowed to race in Malaysia

Manor drivers Roberto Merhi and Will Stevens will be allowed to race in the Malaysian Grand Prix despite failing to qualify for the Sepang event.

Stevens did not run at all during qualifying due to a problem with his car's fuel system, while Merhi was some four tenths of a second slower than the required 107 percent time.

Stevens has been the only Manor driver who has run within the 107 percent all weekend.

But the race stewards announced after qualifying that both men will be allowed to take part in the race, meaning the grid should have 20 cars tomorrow.
