Willy Rampf (Technical Director):

"After Sauber's successful start into the season, the entire Team is looking forward to "home" Grand Prix, the 3rd Petronas Grand Prix in Malaysia. This Grand Prix. Sepang is a very modern track with high safety standards. The circuit has a number of mid-speed corners and a very tight chicane which makes it very interesting. Also drivers can overtake on this track on the two long straights.

Nick Heidfeld (17 GPs, 3 World Championship points):

"Sepang is a really good track, and a very important one from Team Sauber's point of view, so I am really looking forward to racing there again. I feel more confident after scoring my first World Championship points in Melbourne. Our car, the Sauber C20 proved very quick and reliable, and I hope that we can secure a similar result."

Kimi Räikkönen (1 GP, 1 World Championship point):

"Sepang is another new circuit for me. To be honest I have never had much trouble learning tracks. In Melbourne I really enjoyed my first race in F1, and it felt wonderful to score my first World Championship point at the first attempt. Now, I just want to go racing again. This is just another race for me. I would like very much to keep scoring points. The Sauber C20 was very competitive in Australia, and should be well suited to Sepang."
