JORDAN HONDA Malaysian preview
"We need to get on and do the job in Malaysia after the disappointment of Melbourne. There was clearly nothing we could have done to avoid Fisichella being caught in the first lap crash, but we've been working hard to fix the problem that forced Takuma to retire. Hopefully all the drivers will be careful going into the first corner at Sepang, as I'm sure the fans want to see exciting racing with all 22 cars taking part."
"I can't wait to get back in the car, as the Melbourne incident robbed me and many other drivers out of a race. It was a frantic few weeks in the build-up to the first Grand Prix, so it has been good to have time to relax and prepare both physically and mentally for the next race. I like this circuit although it is very demanding in terms of fitness and physical stress due to the very high humidity levels and temperature. Last year I lost nearly 3.5 litres of water during the course of the race."
"I drove at Sepang in a Honda NSX sports car after winning at Macau last year, so I know the circuit a little. It has lots of fast, long corners where the car is on the edge all the way -- exactly my kind of track, so I think I will really enjoy this Grand Prix. I have experienced an F1 race weekend and now I am looking forward to qualifying normally, and hopefully, completing a good race."
