Lily Zneimer’s F1 Abu Dhabi birthday dinner for paddock partners goes viral on social media

While Lewis Hamilton's "class of 2025" group shot from the drivers' dinner held ahead of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been a talking point for Formula 1 fans, another dinner has slipped under the radar.
As the drivers of the grid gathered for their annual meal to celebrate a challenging season for many, Oscar Piastri's partner, Lily Zneimer, was being celebrated in a dinner with a number of the drivers' partners.
Zneimer, celebrating her birthday as her boyfriend Piastri readies himself for the drivers' championship fight, attended a dinner with a number of women joining her. This included Charles Leclerc's fiancée Alexandra Saint Mleux, Gabriel Bortoleto's partner Isa Bernardini, Esteban Ocon's partner Flavy Barla, Alex Albon's partner Lily He, Pierre Gasly's partner Kika Gomes, and Lando Norris's partner Magui Corceiro.
The group was even treated to custom illustrations that individually featured each one of them in an outfit they had worn in the paddock sometime this season.
Social media quickly filled with photos of the get-together. Clips and photos were posted by accounts that follow the women of the paddock, showing the birthday cake, table decor, and a Christian Dior book, The Little Dictionary of Fashion.
According to multiple reports, it was Zneimer who organised the event, with several of those invited thanking her via their numerous social media channels afterwards.
Today, they arrive at the paddock for the first two practice sessions of the title decider, as both McLaren drivers and Red Bull's Max Verstappen fight for the championship win at the Yas Marina Circuit. Norris leads the standings with 408 points, 12 clear of the Dutchman and 16 ahead of Piastri.
"It's kind of business as usual," said McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown on the feelings within the team this weekend. "Of course, it's not business as usual. There's a lot riding on the weekend for both our guys, but they are very relaxed.
"I like the mindset in which they've come in. We're trying to obviously just be business as usual and not think about what the potential outcome can be and do what we've done the first 23 races, maybe leave a few out and go racing again this weekend."
