According to the AutoSport fax service, Las Vegas is to host a street race for the 1996 F1 finale. Organiser Tommy Baker has already had discussions with F1 promotions boss Bernie Ecclestone. Baker says the odds of the race happening are 'over 90%'.

In other F1 news, Nigel Mansell appears to be out of F1. He was quoted "I have no further plans in F1". Also, Williams test driver Jean-Christophe Boullion is expected to replace Karl Wendlinger starting at Monaco.
