A one-of-a-kind Topps trading card featuring Kimi Antonelli has sold for an eye-watering $201,910 with Goldin Auctions.

The sale of the '2025 Topps Dynasty F1 Racing Glove Jumbo Patch Autograph Kimi Antonelli Signed Race-Used Patch Rookie Card' became the most expensive card for the Mercedes driver and the seventh-most expensive F1 card of all time.

The most expensive Topps F1 trading card of all time is the one-of-one '2020 Topps Chrome Lewis Hamilton SuperFractor Autograph', which sold for just over $1million in December 2024. "I mean, it’s pretty crazy," Hamilton told The Athletic of the sale.

"I’ve never thought that would ever be the case. The story of it, where the kid had bought it through a pack, the difference that purchase would have made to him and his family would have been huge.

"I can only imagine these things are just going to continue to go up now, especially with the store opening. I know there’s another big launch of another league coming up and just the growth of the business. It’s got me really hooked. I was opening up those boxes just now, and I was like, I need to get myself some more of these boxes."

Topps has been an official partner of F1 since 2020 and it renewed its contract with the racing series in 2024 with a new multi-year agreement. The Fanatics-owned company is the official licensee of F1 trading cards and sticker collections.

"Since 2020, Topps has created new ways for our fans to engage in our sport through their trading cards and stickers, as well as creating mementos of some of Formula 1’s most iconic and historic moments," Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer at F1, said at the time.

"As we continue to attract new and diverse audiences to F1, having creative partners like Topps is hugely important to us so I am delighted to continue our partnership."
