Team principal Eddie Jordan is not in a hurry to appoint a test driver now that he has a second race driver signed up. Ralph Firman was recently confirmed at Jordan alongside Giancarlo Fisichella and the boss wants to get the first three 'flyaway' races out of the way before thinking about a test driver.

"It's taken me a couple of months to sort out a second driver so I think I'm going to take a little break and think about it," Jordan said. "I have to think about what is in the best interests of the team."

"Don't hold me to this but I think it is probably beneficial for the team to concentrate on Ralph and Giancarlo for the first three fly-aways because they are difficult enough as they are. Then we would look into introducing a test driver because we will need that person to do a lot of the work rate that is required, particularly on Fridays."

Jordan is one of the teams that opted for the Friday of race weekends to be used as a test day, along with Minardi and Renault.

Meanwhile, the livery of the team will be revealed on February 17th at the Circuit de Cataluya near Barcelona. Eddie Jordan will be present with both drivers and for the first time, two EJ13 cars will take to the track to start a four day test session
