The staff at Jordan's Silverstone headquarters and Brackley wind tunnel took time out today to attend the customary post-race debrief held by Eddie Jordan and Director of Race and Test Engineering Gary Anderson. Jordan and Anderson had flown straight back to the UK after yesterday's Canadian Grand Prix, keen to thank the 170 factory based staff for their work in helping the team to achieve three straight points-scoring finishes.

Gary Anderson was able to report on another positive weekend when the team achieved its best qualifying performance of the season so far, Giancarlo Fisichella starting from sixth position and going on to achieve a third successive 5th placed finish.

"It's vital to view the 'team' as meaning everyone in the organisation, whether at the factory, the wind tunnel or the race track," said Jordan. "We all have a considerable amount of work to do and the results in recent weeks, in terms of improvements to reliability and performance, owe everything to sheer hard work by every single person at Jordan, plus of course our partners at Honda and Bridgestone. Finishing races, finishing in the points, is the start of a process of bringing the team back to true competitiveness."
