Giancarlo Fisichella joined his team mate Takuma Sato today at Silverstone for day two of a three day test for DHL Jordan Honda.

Both drivers tested suspension geometries plus set up work for the Spanish and Austrian Grands Prix, including a good deal of traction control work and tyre testing. "We had a pretty good day," explained Senior Race Engineer, David Brown, who is overseeing this week's test. "There were was a long interruption this morning caused by incidents with other teams on the circuit, but we still managed to complete a fair amount of work with Taku completing 58 laps, Giancarlo 49."

"I feel today went well," said Takuma Sato, "although I did have a couple of problems in the afternoon which meant I was not able to complete the tyre test programme as planned. I did complete 15 timed laps in the morning though, so I am pleased with that. The set up work was good and the car does feel better."

Fisichella added, "I feel we have made a small improvement on the car with today's work and hopefully we can continue this tomorrow."

Both drivers return to the Silverstone circuit in the morning to continue test duties.
