JORDAN HAS ALL TO PLAY FOR IN FINAL TWO RACES OF 1998 F1 CHAMPIONSHIP Following another fantastic result for the Jordan team in Monza this weekend, the battle is on for third place in the Formula One World Championship. Jordan currently still lies in 5th place, but is only one point behind Benetton and two points behind the current World Championship title holders, Williams. Jordan needs to score only three more points to score its best ever points tally - the current record is 33 points, scored last year. The turnaround in Jordan Grand Prix's performance is nothing but remarkable. As Damon Hill himself said after the race in Italy, "If there was an award for the best improved team of 1998, Jordan would win it." Over the last four races Jordan has scored as many points as Ferrari - 28, which is more than all the other teams. Remarkable though this statistic is, it is not such a surprise to those within the Jordan team and Mugen-Honda team, who know how much work and effort has been put in to achieving success. There have been many long hours spent at the factory, in the wind tunnel and at testing, but winning points makes it all worth it.
