Bridgestone Motorsport is delighted to confirm its continued involvement for a fifth consecutive year with the Jordan Grand Prix team.

Bridgestone first supplied Jordan in 1999 when it became the sole official tyre manufacturer for the FIA Formula One World Championship and since then, the relationship between the two companies has continued to strengthen.

During this time, Jordan has secured two race victories - the 1999 French and Italian Grands Prix, and six additional podium positions, on Bridgestone tyres.

Hiroshi Yasukawa, Director of Bridgestone Motorsport, said: "This is excellent news for Bridgestone as we consider Jordan to be an important asset to us. Over the past four years we have developed a very close working relationship with our friends at Jordan and we look forward to a productive year with them."

Concluded Mr. Yasukawa: "2003 has the potential of being a ground-breaking year for Jordan and, as always, we intend to give them our support and cooperation regarding their tyre requirements."

Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix, said, "Bridgestone have been a crucial partn Jordan over the last four years and I am very pleased that we have extended our relationship. The Jordan Ford EJ13 package, with the chassis from Henri Durand and Gary Anderson, combined with Ford Cosworth RS power and Bridgestone tyres, is going to be a strong contender and we're looking forward to a season of good racing."
