Jaguar Racing continued its build up to the Austrian Grand Prix on the second day of testing in Valencia on Thursday. As was the case with yesterday's test, both Pedro de la Rosa and Eddie Irvine concentrated on improving the balance of the car and also conducted tyre testing.

Pedro completed 31 laps of the circuit in setting a quickest mark of 1m13.211s. Eddie was marginally slower but the lap times are not the major priority. With no major improvements expected on the aerodynamic pagkage for a number of weeks, the team is more concerned with making minor adjustments to the balance of the R3 and getting the best levels of performance from the Michelin tyres.
