Jaguar Racing concluded its three day test session at Valencia with Pedro de la Rosa behind the wheel of the Jaguar R3.

Working on improving the balance and set up of the car for Imola, Pedro completed a substantial 84 laps of the circuit in clocking a best time of 1m14.475s.

"We've only just done three races and we started with a slower car than expected so we had to work hard to improve it a lot," said Pedro on his return from Brazil.

"We're one of the most reliable teams of the championship because we've managed to finish in all three venues and have now grabbed three points. The car is definately working better and better everyday."

With the first day of testing hampered by substantial rainfall, and windy conditions prevalent on Wednesday and Thursday, none of the teams were able to make the most of their time although Jaguar Racing squeezed the most out of their track time today.

McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen finished on top of the lap times ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya's Williams with Alexander Wurz finishing third quickest in the second McLaren. The teams will now prepare to head off to San Marino for the first European race of 2002, taking place on May 14.
