The Jaguar Racing team began its final three-day test session before Melbourne with both drivers in action at a wet Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday.

With a heavy working schedule to get through, the conditions could have been kinder but both Antonio Pizzonia and Mark Webber managed an encouraging 94 laps between them working on car set-up, fuel loads and weight distribution. The scheduled work experimenting with different Michelin tyre compounds will have to wait until the Catalan weather improves.

Webber managed 58 laps of the circuit in clocking a quickest time of 1m33.062s with Pizzonia managing a best effort of 1m35.029s from 46 laps.

Every team that will line up on the grid at Albert Park with the exception of McLaren, Ferrari and Minardi was present with the Williams duo of Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya finishing on top of the times.

Testing continues tomorrow (Thursday) with both drivers once again behind the wheel.
