Antonio Pizzonia and Mark Webber rounded off a productive three-day test session for the Jaguar Racing team in Barcelona on Thursday.

Pizzonia, who suffered a heavy off on Tuesday morning, regrouped well over the next two days and finished with the third fastest time today, bettered only by a stunning lap by David Coulthard's McLaren and the Williams of Juan Pablo Montoya.

The Brazilian was in the cockpit of his Jaguar R3 for most of the day, racking up a substantial 101 laps of the circuit in the process.

But it was Coulthard who caused the fireworks of the day, smashing the Circuit de Catalunya lap record with a 1m15.674s lap this morning. His time was almost two seconds quicker than the 1m17.372s lap of Montoya.

Mark Webber finished the day with the ninth fastest time, completing 73 laps in the revised Jaguar R3C leaving the team with valuable data from which to evaluate the new engine.

"From the substantial mileage we acheived today, you can see that things went well after the teething troubles of last week," commented Webber. "I worked on testing the new engine and gearbox in the R3C and we are happy with our finish to the three-day programme."
