Insight: Scuderia Ferrari Uncovered - a virtual tour inside Ferrari's Formula 1 pit box

If you’ve ever wanted to know what goes on in a Formula 1 team garage, a new digital tour of Ferrari’s pit box offers a glimpse of life behind the scenes in a Grand Prix pitlane.

Scuderia Ferrari Uncovered lets fans take a virtual tour of the pits at a race weekend. Breakaway sections of the tour show stories about Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, and the team's operations over an F1 weekend.

There are also segments that focus on the aerodynamics of Ferrari’s SF15-T, as well as the Shell Track Lab and the make up of the fuel Shell provides to Ferrari.

Visitors to the site can also head out into a virtual pitlane to see how the Ferrari mechanics prepare for, and execute, a pitstop. This feature includes a step-by-step commentary that explains the pitstop procedures from previously unseen angles.

The digital tour was created by using 360° photography of Ferrari’s pitbox and Shell’s Track Lab, that was filmed at the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix.
