The Arrows team was unable to bring both cars home at the German Grand Prix. After a slow start, Toranosuke Takagi was not able to continue his race when his car suffered an engine failure on lap 16. Pedro de la Rosa joined him on lap 38, when he had to retire after his car spun off the track and hit a tyre wall.

Toranosuke Takagi: "I had a slow start to the race but the car was running well until I had to retire with an engine failure."

Pedro de la Rosa: "I had a very difficult race. As soon as the tyre s performance came down, the grip level got worse. I tried to keep the car on the track and I pushed very hard, but in the end I made a mistake and went into the wall, which finished my race."

Tom Walkinshaw: "It was our hope and wish to bring both cars across the finishing line this weekend, but unfortunately we weren't able to do so. The team will make their preparations for the next race, when I think we have a more realistic chance to do well."
