In Canada, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton admitted to have loosened his seat belts while celebrating after the race.
This issue was brought up by Haas driver Romain Grosjean during the Friday briefing before the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka last weekend.
The driver briefing was a heated one, thanks to Grosjean bringing up the way Hamilton celebrates while still inside the car.
Grosjean wanted to know why the British driver was not punished, while the FIA fines those who do not replace the steering wheel after getting out of the car.
Hamilton admitted that he did celebrate by loosening his seat belts after winning in Canada, apart from that in other places. More recently, he did so in the Singapore Grand Prix.
