Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix, announced today that Heinz-Harald Frentzen has renewed his contract with the Benson and Hedges Jordan team for a further two years.

Frentzen, 33, joined B & H Jordan in 1999 and in his first year with the team won two races (France and Italy), scored 54 points and claimed hird tplace in the Drivers' Championship.

Commenting on Frentzen's re-signing, Eddie Jordan said, "We are delighted to have Heinz for another two years. He is Jordan Grand Prix's most successful driver to date in terms of wins, points and front row grid positions, and we expect him to play a key role in our challenge for championship honours with our 2001 partners Honda and Bridgestone."

Heinz-Harald Frentzen said, "I am delighted to be continuing my career with Jordan. The arrival of Honda is viewed as a significant step forward for Jordan and together we expect to reach the highest level of success. I am committed to do everything I can in order to achieve it."
