The salvation of Force India is an extraordinary tale, with a few twists and turns along the way.
The outcome is that a solidly performing upper midfield team has not only been saved but, under Lawrence Stroll's ownership, could well expand and thrive in a way that was not previously possible. All jobs are safe, as are the supply deals that ensure the team is serviced. The risk of Formula 1 losing two seats in an already exclusive field has passed.
