At 1845 Rubens Barrichello finished today's testing at the Mugello track. The Brazilian worked mainly on the set-up of his F1-2000, making both mechanical and aerodynamic adjustments and completing tyre testing, in preparation for the next Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in Germany on the 21st May. No technical problems were incurred.

Barrichello completed a total of 85 laps, the quickest time being 1'27"093.

While Barrichello was busy at Mugello, Luca Badoer completed the shakedown of the three singleseaters which will be used in the European Grand Prix. The official test driver of the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro completed a total of 40 laps: 11 with the chassis no 200 (Michael Schumacher's competition car), 11 with the 199 (T-car) and 18 with the 202 (Rubens Barrichello's competition car). The fastest time of the day was 1'01"803. During the shakedown re-fueling practice was also carried out.
