Monza, 21st October - The Scala theatre in Milan provided an unusual backdrop to Ferrari's latest success. It staged an evening dedicated to the 2001 Formula 1 World Championship winning team, during which there was a performance of the ballet "Giselle," under the musical direction of Riccardo Muti. Mayor Albertini of Milan welcomed to the famous theatre, Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt, President Luca di Montezemolo, Piero Ferrari and the car which won the world titles.

Also present were all the drivers who took part in the Ferrari Challenge, who will do battle on the Monza track today for the championship finals.

Michael Schumacher was greated with a standing ovation by the crowd. "Our victory comes from depth," declared President Luca di Montezemolo. "It has come about thanks to a united and solid team. It is really great to be here to celebrate, for the third consecutive year, our winning of the Constructors's title and for the second time in a row the Drivers' Championship." The Ferrari President then thanked the mayor of Milan and all the fans who had turned up for "Tutte le Ferrari in Pista."
