The third and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Monza circuit. Once again, Luciano Burti was driving, working on development of new types of Bridgestone tyres.

The first part of the test was carried out on the track layout already used yesterday with two temporary chicanes in place. Then, from midday onwards, Burti drove on the normal circuit layout. The final part of the test took place in the rain on a wet track. A total of 86 laps was completed.

"I am happy with the work we have done over the past three days of testing," said Burti at the end of the session. We worked on various types of tyre for use at circuits similar to Monza. When it rained today, we were able to also carry out some rain tyre tests."

Circuit: Autodromo di Monza, 5.793 km
Driver: Luciano Burti, F2001 chassis no. 214
Weather: air temperature 15/17C, track temperature 18/21C, cloudy then rain.
