First day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Monza circuit. Michael Schumacher, Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa were driving today; all of them at the wheel of an F2003-GA. The day's technical programme covered aerodynamic and tyre testing, as well as working on finding the best set-up on the car.

Between them, the three Ferrari drivers completed a total of 139 laps: 30 for Michael, 45 for Luca and 64 for Felipe. Schumacher set the best time on the day, in 1:22.524. Massa's personal best was 1:22.744, while Badoer did a 1:23.153.

The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow according to the following timetable: Schumacher and Badoer continue at Monza, where they will be joined by Rubens Barrichello. Felipe Massa will switch to Fiorano.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Fiorano circuit. Luciano Burti was in action today, at the wheel of a F2002. The Brazilian driver was tasked with a tyre test programme. He covered a total of 102 laps during the day (39 of them on the short version of the track.) The best lap was a 59”581.
