First day of testing this year at the Monza circuit for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Felipe Massa was driving today, at the wheel of an F2002. The technical programme for the day centred on Bridgestone tyre development. At the Scuderia's request, the track was modified with the addition of two chicanes. A total of 415 kilometres was covered.
Felipe Massa continues testing here tomorrow.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Fiorano circuit. This was Rubens Barrichello's first day at the track this season. The Brazilian was at the wheel of an F2003-GA and concentrated on development of the car and tyre testing.

A total of 117 laps was completed (18 on the short version of the track) with a best time of 57''413. Rubens Barrichello continues testing here tomorrow.
