First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Jerez circuit on Spain's south coast. Luca Badoer was driving today with two F2002 at his disposal.

The Scuderia's official test driver began a tyre development programme aimed at the 2003 season. He covered a total of 106 laps (56 with chassis 220 and 50 with chassis 221.) The quickest time was 1:20.538.

Also running at the track was the Sauber-Petronas team: Nick Heidfeld completed 45 laps, recording a best time of 1:22.339.

Third day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Mugello circuit. Once again, Luciano Burti was driving today, continuing with electronics testing and development of new components for the forthcoming season.

Burti covered a total of 65 laps, all on a wet track. The best time on the day was 1:32.620. Luciano Burti continues testing at the wheel of an F2002 at Mugello tomorrow.
