First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Jerez circuit. Luciano Burti took to the track today, working on a Bridgestone tyre development programme. Testing began at 09h00 and ended at 16h00. From just before midday onwards, the testing was run in the rain.

Burti covered a total of 72 laps, the quickest being a 1:23.763.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Mugello circuit. Luca Badoer took to the track today with two F2002 at his disposal. The Scuderia test driver worked on a tyre development programme and electronics testing. Badoer did a total of 92 laps: 11 with chassis 217 and 81 with chassis 218. His best time was a 1:22.737.

Sauber was also running at Mugello: Felipe Massa did 67 laps, the fastest in 1:25.317.
