First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Jerez circuit. Luciano Burti took to the track today, at the wheel of an F2001. He began an intensive programme, testing various types of Bridgestone tyre. The Brazilian driver began running at 9.20 and ended his day's work at 17.15. A total of 84 laps was covered with a best time of 1:22.991.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Fiorano circuit. Today, Luca Badoer was at the wheel, tackling a programme of aerodynamic and set-up testing. The Italian driver did a total of 104 laps, of which 32 were on the short version of the track. The best time of the day was 58.936.
Testing continues tomorrow, this time with Michael Schumacher driving.
