Giancarlo Fisichella's manager has refused to rule out a scenario whereby the Roman racer switches to Ferrari for the last races of 2009.

With Felipe Massa and Michael Schumacher injured, Luca Badoer was heavily criticised at Valencia for struggling for pace at the wheel of the second F60 car.

David Coulthard, Anthony Davidson and Marc Gene have all publicly declared their interest in stepping in for the Italian Grand Prix and beyond, and another name mentioned has been that of Italian Fisichella, the 36-year-old veteran of more than 200 Grands Prix.

"We have not had contact with Ferrari," his manager Enrico Zanarini is quoted as saying by France's L'Equipe sports daily.

"Giancarlo has a contract with Force India, but in F1 anything is possible.

"It would be a dream for him to drive for Ferrari," Zanarini, who also handled former Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine's career, concluded.
