Second day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Circuit de Catalunya, outside Barcelona. Once again today, Rubens Barrichello and Luca Badoer were driving. The Brazilian driver successfully completed a race distance at the wheel of the F2002. Barrichello reeled off 87 laps, with a best time of 1'18"848.

The Scuderia's official test driver contined with a tyre development programme at the wheel of the F2001, completing 91 laps (best time 1'19"826.) Then, Badoer switched to the second F2002 at the circuit, covering 18 laps with a best time of 1'19"204.

The day's work began at 9.15 and ended at 18.00. Tomorrow, Luca Badoer and Rubens Barrichello will be joined by Michael Schumacher.
